Our Process

  • Step 1: Book in your consultation

    Start the process by sending us an email at lets.explore.nutrition@gmail.com to discuss your options. At this step start thinking about your personal health goals and what you would like to achieve. We start by booking an initial consultation with a minimum of one followup appointment, as we want you to have the best possible chance of achieving your goals. From there if you wish to upgrade to a longer timeframe nutrition support package we can do so. Keeping in mind that the longer you are accountable to someone, the more you are likely to create sustainable healthy habits that last for life.

  • Step 2: Fill in your client intake form

    We send you this form upon booking. You have the choice to complete this form electronically or via a Microsoft Word Document. Please allow approximately 30 mins to complete this form. We need you to provide as much information and detail as possible to assist us in our first consultation together.

  • Step 3: Gather recent blood test results

    If you've had any blood tests in the last 6 months, please ask your medical centre for a copy. These will be relevant for our appointment. Please send them through when you complete your intake form.

  • Step 4: Initial consultation

    During this consultation we really do a deep dive into YOU. We look at your intake form, your health, your likes, your dislikes, your schedule, your home environment, your family unit, your habits, your budget - everything that makes up your life and you as a whole. From there we start verbally discussing ideas and putting together the perfect plan to move towards your health goals - whether you are wishing to manage a chronic health condition and improve your quality of life. Whether you simply want to lose weight and lower your cholesterol. Or perhaps you are wanting to train for a marathon and don't know where to start with your nutrition. If you are someone who is suffering with digestive system and skin issues, we also offer functional testing including food intolerances and gut microbiome mapping as an optional resource to you.

  • Step 5: We create your tailored plan

    After our initial consultation. I go away and put ink to paper and create your individualised nutrition plan. This will be tailored to meet your health goals. This plan will include: Your individual nutritional needs (including portion guides specifically to you), how to build your meals, a meal planning guide, recommended recipes, options of what to eat and when, advice on how to feed households with different needs, individual supplement advice (if needed), recommended blood tests (if needed), exercise and lifestyle advice specific to you and your situation. If you are a sports nutrition client, your plan also includes information on this component including nutrition for training, racing & recovery, nutrient timing and much more. A lot of work and science goes on behind the scenes to ensure that you have the best holistic plan possible put together especially for YOU.

  • Step 6: Follow up consultations

    As mentioned we book a minimum of one follow up consultation. In this consultation we look at how you are implementing your new plan and how you are feeling. We work through any obstacles you are facing and talk through how to overcome them. Any adjustments that need to be made to the plan are done in this appointment. If any blood tests were recommended in the initial consultation, or functional tests completed, we discuss those results and work on an action plan in terms of nutrition. Follow up appointments are a way of keeping accountable for your health and new habits, and to stay on the track towards the goals you have set.

  • 6 weeks $397 inc GST

    12 weeks $599 inc GST
